Winning
First place and the $1,500 prize was Samantha Farley and Kristin Hanlan,
two dental hygienist students from the School of Dentistry. They plan to
use the winnings to further their prototype for a dental hygienists’ instrumentation
panel.
Second-place winner of $1000, was Jordan Hallow. Hallow wowed the judges
with his forensic investigating game.
Due of a tie in voting for the
third place prize of $500, the investors agreed to fund both. One of the
two third-place pitchers was Ephraim Pittore with his toy invention – “Banana Blaster”.
