The Morris L. Hayhurst LaunchLab is WVU's first stop for every undergraduate student: no idea is too early, and no student is turned away.

Our Mission
The Morris L. Hayhurst LaunchLab serves WVU undergraduate students as their first point of contact for turning ideas into action. We strengthen the West Virginia University Entrepreneurship Ecosystem through active outreach, mentorship, programming, and connection to resources.

Courage to Try:
The most important step is the first one. We know starting is the hardest part. LaunchLab exists to make that first step feel possible for every undergraduate at WVU.

Before building anything, we teach students to understand the problem they are solving. A strong answer always begins with the right question.

Your idea is safe here. We protect what students share with us and give honest feedback in return. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.

Belonging:
This space was built for every WVU undergraduate. No major, background, or experience level is required to walk through our door. If you have a question or an idea, you belong here.
