Dr. Sarraf’s proposal creates a symbiotic relationship between students’ communication and entrepreneurship training at the university. 

Her proposal develops workshops on writing, innovation, and entrepreneurship for General Education Foundation faculty. The objective is for faculty to teach students to use writing as a problem solving tool to innovate in their disciplines.  

Also, she will modify a section of English 304: Professional and Business Writing to focus on entrepreneurship skills for freelance writers. The course objectives will help students to learn writing as a tool to address wicked problems in business and professional communication.
