Anne Jones

Anne Jones is Director of Entrepreneurship at StartUp West Virginia and the Business Advisor for the Morris L. Hayhurst Launch Lab. She is a member of the Engaged Scholars Institute: a community of scholars who provide guidance, support, resource development and increase best practice participation in their respective colleges to advance scholarship, promotion and tenure support, and overall community engaged practices at WVU. 

As an Advisor, Anne identifies and builds connections between entrepreneurs, communities, WVU resources and best practices. As a business coach, she coached students and faculty to win state and national pitch competitions and financing from investors. Her current coaching also includes supporting Vetrepreneurs through the SBA (Small Business Administration) Community Navigator Pilot Program. Anne teaches through multiple colleges at the University as well as NSF ICorps  She has a BA from St. Lawrence University, MA from University of Massachusetts, and MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK.
