Students, business reps support renewal of Young Entrepreneurs Reinvestment Act

MORGANTOWN — Bipartisan legislation in the West Virginia Senate would renew the Young Entrepreneurs Reinvestment Act, making it easier for enterprising young people to organize their businesses. Senate Bill 365, which is now in the Senate’s Economic Development Committee, would waive filing fees for anyone under the age of 30 when establishing their business and eliminate sunset dates for expiration of fee waivers. This would apply to articles of incorporation for limited liability companies, for-profit corporations and non-profit corporations.
