Get excited for the spring semester with some exciting upcoming events! 

In the spirit of the Valentines Day season the WVU LaunchLab in conjunction with the WVU IDEA Hub will host the I Heart IDEA Hub Pitch Challenge. The purpose of this event is to bring together various IDEA Hub partners to compete in a central innovative competition.

Attend the 2nd annual Demo Day April 25, 2019! Students, faculty, and staff will converge to present their ideas, innovations, and inventions for an opportunity to win funding to further their work.

Founder of popular dog-based Twitter accounts shares story with WVU Tech students

While most people were using Twitter to tweet about what they had for breakfast in the morning, in 2014 Matt Nelson was using it as a comedic standpoint to share his love of a good joke. Nelson, who moved to Charleston when he was eight-years old, is the founder of two popular Twitter accounts — WeRateDogs and Thoughts of Dog.
